Horn of Sorrow deals with the plight of the Black Rhino when it was close to extinction in 1987. The audience follows the life of little Thembalethu (a Black Rhino) as she grows up in a Game Reserve dealing with the dangers that lurk in the African bush.Horn of Sorrow, a moving play that speaks for itself, is a physical story incorporating music, dance, humour and heartache, all with a relevant theme. This award-winning production follows the plight of the rhino in its endless battle against extinction and the forces edging it along.
